About Us
The Wandsworth Environment Forum (WEF) is a voluntary group of individuals and representatives of organisations local to the London Borough of Wandsworth
We aim to:
- Enable concerned individuals and groups to participate in the environmental decision making process in the borough
- Act as a body for the exchange of ideas and information on environmental issues relevant to our ideas
- Initiate projects and Studies that will help build a more sustainable Wandsworth
WEF meets at least once every two months, usually in Wandsworth Town Hall. Meetings can be organised around a particular topic for discussion, sometimes including external speakers or can consist of updates from members on their activities followed by an agenda for action which the Forum agrees to take on particular issues.
Those working on particular projects may also arrange their own specific meetings.
WEF WELCOMES INPUT FROM RESIDENTS ON PARTICULAR ISSUES AND SUGGESTIONS FOR PROJECTS.
These pages provide information on the campaigns and projects that WEF is, and has been, involved in. They also contain information on both local and wider environmental issues.
